  • Direct the ongoing instructional design and development needed for dynamic ELA products that include state-specific versions and new content year over year.
  • Drive the instructional design and content strategy for engaging print and digital curricula for the 6-12 ELA market.
  • Integrate technology tools and digital resources to enhance ELA instruction and promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in best practices in the teaching, pedagogy, and assessment of 6-12 ELA to ensure instructional materials are effective, engaging, and meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Cultivate and maintain deep knowledge of the ELA research base and market, including customer and state-specific values and needs.
  • Manage and grow a cohesive team of content writers and instructional designers, including facilitating the professional growth and satisfaction of instructional design staff.
  • Manage staff ID's and contract content writers, as well as coordinate with third-party partners to execute product delivery against roadmap expectations.
  • Partner with Product Management to determine product requirements and deliver digital-first products that incorporate the best pedagogical uses of technology.
  • Partner with Editorial on developing writing templates and guidelines, content reviews, and overall quality assurance of print and digital products.
