Carmichael Truck & Automotive Services, Inc. is Hiring a Diesel Technician Near Bloomington, IN

Job Summary:
We are seeking one or more, skilled Diesel Technician (s) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance, including working and performing all types of repairs on diesel engines and trucks overall.

Duties:
- Perform diagnostic and routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines - including, Light, Medium & Heavy Duty vehicles overall skills In all areas of truck repair is a must.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on diesel equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Use power tools to disassemble and reassemble heavy-duty components
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Alignments and suspension system repair.
- Service air brakes, PM Maintenance, Medium & HD Clutches, Transmission, Drivelines, Seals, HD Diesel Engine Repairs, shocks, struts, and other related systems
- We perform repairs on a variety of equipment including Light, Medium & Heavy Duty Tractor-Trailers.

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Diesel Technician is a must.

SEEKING EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS ONLY!!!!
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems
- Familiarity with dealership service procedures is a plus
- Ability to dig into complex mechanical issues and find solutions
- Experience with air brake systems and General Diesel Repairs is Required!

Must Have own Tools (large Tool Box Full of Tools a must - such as an Experienced Diesel Technician would already own).

Must have a valid Drivers License and pass our company insurance requirements.

Must show up for work on time.

Must limit cell phone use while on the time clock.

Must be motivated and have a (old school type of ”Work Ethic”).
