Yager Marine, a division of Yager Materials, is currently seeking applicants for a labor position at our barge construction facility.

The responsibilities of a laborer include, but are not limited to, cutting, welding, grinding, fabricating, layout work, fitting, overhead crane / forklift operation, etc.

Laborers are required to assist other welders with their duties and maintain a clean shop to prevent any safety hazards.

Requirements

• Ability to operate air arc gouger preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred
• Ability to read tape measure
• Over-Head Crane operating experience preferred
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Good communication and technical skills
• Experience in using hand tools and possessing good hand-eye coordination.
