Yager Marine a division of Yager Materials is currently seeking applicants for Welder position at our barge construction facility.

Welders responsibilities include but not limited to cutting, welding, grinding, fabricating, lay out work, fitting, overhead crane / forklift operation, etc.

Welders are required to work and weld in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. The Utility person works on assigned projects with limited or no supervision while performing general manual labour tasks / housekeeping of production areas, various entry-level production positions, operation of material handling equipment and mobile equipment ensuring the work is effective and performed in accordance with all relevant codes and safety standards.

Drives and operates concrete mixer truck to transport ready mixed concrete from plant to job site. Drivers must preform their duties with little to no supervision but must follow directions of the job superintendent or customers.

Drivers are also expected to perform general maintenance around the plant and trucks when not transporting material. The Electrical Engineer position is a dual role position that supports capital projects during the conceptual design, engineering review, construction, and commissioning phases and also is our subject area resource for electrical systems in the company.

Projects will be located at all of our American operations (USA, Canada and other countries in South America). The Electrical Engineer participates in cross functional teams to improve technical knowledge, effectiveness, and results.

Operation of heavy equipment (front end loader, dozer, etc.) to maintain stockpiles and road ways, maintain the flow of materials and product, loads trucks with stone, moves and shoves up stock piled material, maintains roads and performs general plant cleanup, feeds portable screening plant, unloads material, and other duties as assigned by management.

The responsibilities of the Journeyman Electrician include, working on assigned projects with limited or no supervision while performing installation, construction, modification, repair and maintenance of electrical apparatuses, equipment and systems ensuring the work is performed in accordance with all relevant codes and safety standards.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all aspects of employee and labor relations to include staffing, benefits and compensation, training and development, compliance, and labor management.

Leads contract negotiations and ensures adherence to the labor agreement and local policies and processes by all management and employees.

This position will support operations in Owensboro, KY and Battletown, KY. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, providing engineering, planning, leadership, and other support to the UG mining and quarry operations out of the Luttrell, TN area.

The Automation Network and Server Engineer is responsible for the overall development, administration, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all operations networks, historian servers, HMIs and cloud / web services.

Other responsibilities include network monitoring, performance analysis, development / implementation of standards, project support, internal customer support and fault / problem management / resolution.

The Automation Network Engineer will coordinate with plants, internal customers and contractors, as necessary to achieve the goals above.

The Automation Engineer is responsible for the overall development, administration, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of various operations networks, historian servers, HMIs and web services.

Other responsibilities include network monitoring, performance analysis, development / implementation of standards and internal customer support and fault / problem management / resolution.

The Automation Engineer will coordinate with plants, internal customers and contractors, as necessary to achieve the goals above.
