Carmello's is Hiring an Experienced Bartender/Mixologist Near Manassas, VA

We are seeking energetic, fun, hosts, bussers, servers, and bartenders to become an integral part of our team! Will train motivated self-starters who are able to follow directions. You will seat guests, make recommendations, serve food and drink, and build rapport with patrons at the dining establishment in a professional, courteous, manner ensuring the guests' enjoy their time with us. Must be at least 16 years of age to start (18 to serve/bartend) and able to work at least 5 shifts a week to include one morning, nights, weekends and some holidays.

The Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with diverse team members. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is greatly desired.

Responsibilities:

Serve food and beverages to guests.
Explain menu items to guests.
Look for opportunities to upsell.
Clean and prepare the dining areas.
Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, courteous fashion.
Perform other restaurant duties as assigned.
Knowledge of liquor, beer, & wine a plus.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields a plus.
Ability to build rapport with guests.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Punctual.
Team player.
Organized.
