Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, including tree care, landscape maintenance, irrigation, tree trimming, mowing, and general groundskeeping. This is a hands-on role that requires physical labor and the use of various hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, edging, and mulching
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Assist with tree care including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Dig trenches for irrigation systems or planting
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and trimmers
- Assist with the installation of landscape features such as walkways and retaining walls
- Perform general groundskeeping duties to maintain a clean and tidy outdoor environment
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment when necessary
Skills:
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively and safely
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail for precise tree trimming and landscaping tasks
