CARLYLE is Hiring a Vice President, Insurance Solutions Fund Management Near New York, NY

Work closely with the CFO of Carlyle Insurance Solutions (“CIS”) to support a dynamic and growing business among both internal and external stakeholders. The role will require an ability to partner with Carlyle professionals across multiple disciplines to ensure alignment and coordination among CIS and Carlyle’s other investment and corporate teams.

Key Duties/
Responsibilities

  • Financial Control
    • Financial Reporting (Fee calculations, internal & external reporting)
    • Budgeting/FP&A for Insurance Solutions
    • Manage financial data flow from Fortitude
    • Investor allocations/distribution analysis
    • SEC reporting support (disclosure prep and review for 10-Q and 10-K)
    • Reporting to Fortitude investor group (Quarterly updates)
    • Documenting processes and policies
  • Management reporting
    • Quarterly Business Reviews
    • KPI's
    • Board reporting
  • Ad-hoc transaction support and analysis
    • Analytic support relating to the financial, accounting and tax implications of CIS growth transactions on Carlyle broadly
  • Investor diligence
  • Navigating organization, partnering across departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • 10 years in public/private Finance & Accounting roles
  • Investment company and/or insurance accounting experience
  • Private Equity Experience/deal team exposure/managing data flow from portfolio companies
  • Self starter/entreprenuerial with commercial mentality
  • Interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail
