We are seeking an Estimator Assistant to join our team. As an Estimator Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by accurately estimating project costs and ensuring cost control throughout the duration of the project. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction management, project estimation, and contract negotiation.

Duties:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project budgets
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create detailed estimates
- Conduct site visits to gather information for estimating purposes
- Research and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractors
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget
- Provide support to project teams by reviewing change orders and pricing variations

Requirements:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Estimator Assistant in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Excel, and other softwares.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
