Job Overview:
Boise based material handling company seeking skilled Lead Installers to join our team. As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing various installations of shelving, pallet racking and lockers. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to lead a team effectively and efficiently.
Duties:
- Lead and supervise a team of installers in completing installation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements
- Perform regular and advanced installations of shelving and racking systems according to specifications and guidelines
- Ensure that installations are completed accurately and according to specifications
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth project execution
- Train and mentor junior installers on proper installation techniques
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project manager
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in material handling
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
