- Managing budgeting, estimating and related activities of large-scale construction projects
- Providing leadership for estimating, bidding and pre-construction aspects of a project
- Communicating with and managing client relationships from initial contract award through project closeout and warranty management.
- Supporting the project team including project manager, contract administration, field superintendent and accounting.
- Negotiating sub-contract agreements
- Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with owners, engineers, public officials, trade partners, field superintendents and construction personnel
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with high levels of detail
- Computer skills: proficiency utilizing Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to make effective and intelligent decisions in a fast pace environment
- Able to organize, plan & manage multiple activities concurrently
- Must understand the difference between activity and results
