CARLSBAD MEDICAL CENTER is Hiring a Phlebotomist FT- night shift 1131-017 Near CARLSBAD, NM
Draws and collects blood samples from patients, collects swabs for testing, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Certification by a nationally recognized body preferred. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Shift is 7 days on and 7 days off night shift.
