Position Overview: Lifehouse seeks a dedicated and visionary Chief of Staff to join our team and drive the development and implementation of human resources initiatives. As Chief of Staff, you will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in shaping our strategic direction as a member of the executive team. You'll lead a dynamic team dedicated to transforming our workplace and enhancing employee satisfaction. The Chief of Staff will oversee the hiring process, training programs, employee wellness initiatives, and grievance processes, ensuring a supportive and inclusive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for supporting the well-being of our staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Human Resources Management: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive human resources strategies, policies, and procedures to support the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse and talented workforce.
  • Hiring Process: Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Training and Development: Design and implement training programs and initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and professional growth. Identify training needs, facilitate workshops, and leverage external resources to support ongoing learning and development.
  • Employee Wellness Programs: Develop and oversee employee wellness initiatives to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Implement programs, activities, and resources to support work-life balance, stress management, and overall wellness.
  • Grievance Processes: Establish and manage grievance procedures to address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances fairly and on time. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers to resolve issues and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to align human resources initiatives with organizational goals and objectives. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to support workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices. Stay informed of industry trends and changes in employment legislation to address potential risks and liabilities proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in human resources management, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, training and development, employee relations, and wellness initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
