Carlisle Brake & Friction Inc is Hiring an IT End User Support Engineer Near BLOOMINGTON, IN

Description

Under the direction of the IT End User Support Manager the primary responsibilities of the Systems Engineer End User Support will include implementing, configuring and supporting stable, secure, and efficient End User devices while proactively solving IT issues and supporting end users at all levels. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in enterprise Global End User support. This candidate will also possess excellent troubleshooting skills and a desire to learn new technologies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to administer and troubleshoot End User devices and software including workstations, O365, Windows 10, and AD file access permissions.
  • Configure and setup hardware for remote employees.
  • To be able to think through problems and visualize solutions.
  • To quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
  • Be Customer Service centric focused as an enabler to business initiatives.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new products and technologies.
  • Monitors and maintains continuity with software licensing and maintenance agreements for all devices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical/business field.

Experience and/or Training: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on enterprise experience in a global team supporting compute and end users.
  • Experience with Dell and Avaya equipment preferred
  • High-energy, self-motivated, detailed, well-organized
  • A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
  • Ability to function within and contribute to a positive, team oriented, continuous learning environment
  • Excellent face to face and written communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize large list of tasks

Licenses/Certificates: Applicable Vendor certifications are a plus

Technology/Equipment: Strong experience with Dell and Avaya Telecom products and Support services
