  • Carlisle Fluid Technologies has an immediate opportunity for a CNC Mill programmer/set up/operator, in our Oakdale facility, working four 10 hour shifts M-Th. This position is responsible for producing machined parts by programing, setting up and operating various CNC machining centers to fabricate parts and components while maintaining quality and safety standards, under minimum supervision.
  • Duties will include:
  • Hands on programming, set up and machining of 3, 4 and 5 axis mills, multi axis lathes, and development of critical machining processes.
  • Operation of other equipment as required, both NC controlled and manual.
  • Working with engineering to document and standardize production processes.
  • Partner with leadership and engineering to prioritize work based on production schedule and organizational goals.
  • Ensure product quality and conformance to engineering specification.
Qualifications:
  • CNC programming skills, preferably Gibbs Cam.
  • 3 years’ experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining.
  • 1 year experience with manual mill and lathe.
  • Thrive in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to take on challenges with incomplete information and pivot to drive progress.
  • Work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience machining one or more of the following materials: nickel-based stainless-steel alloys (Inconel, Monel, etc.), Copper, Aluminum and/or Titanium.
  • Extensive experience with one or more of the following CNC machines: Mazak, Hass, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, and/or Okuma.
  • Working knowledge of Fanuc, Hass, or other CNC controls.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.
  • Familiar with use of personal computers.
  • Ability to provide Design for Manufacturing feedback.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
  • Tooling and fixture design.
  • Outside processing knowledge, including heat treat, plating, coating, EDM, grinding, etc.
  • CMM programming/operation experience.
  • CNC programming skills, preferably Gibbs Cam.
  • Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
