Job Summary:
Carl Black Orlando Chevy Buick GMC is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Receptionist & Phone Operator. This is a full-time position in which the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service over the phone as well as in the showroom. The ideal candidate will have a passion to provide an exceptional customer experience & hospitality to clients visiting the store, with great attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $12 per hour, plus the opportunity to earn commission based on appointments set for service or sales. Our receptionists also enjoy weekly pay, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and transfer incoming phone calls with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Direct customers to the appropriate department or staff member
- Take detailed messages and ensure they are delivered promptly to the intended recipient
- Provide information about the dealership's products and services to callers
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the dealership's calendar
- Monitor and respond to voicemail and email messages in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Other administrative tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using various computer programs, including MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including one of two weekend days
