To develop and implement Child Advocacy Center program services as assigned. To assist in the training of program volunteers.

• Provide crisis assessment and intervention needs
• Provide counseling and supportive services for child victims of crime
• Provide personal advocacy for child victims of crime
• Adhere to confidentiality requirements
• Provide information and referral assistance to child victims of crime and their caregivers

• Provide support and advocacy to child victims of crime throughout the criminal justice system processes
• Provide support and advocacy to caregivers of child victims of crime throughout the criminal justice processes
• Assist in the development of protocols and procedures
• Travel required to adhere to training requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field
• Experience working with children/teens
• Knowledge related to the criminal justice system
• Knowledge of community resources and program issues
• Experience in developing personal growth and information workshops
• Familiarity with Caring House programs
• Experience in public relations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate Degree in Human Services field or equivalent
• Experience in counseling or social work
• Associate Degree in Human Services field or equivalent
• Knowledge and ability to provide trauma informed services
• Excellent communication skills
