Who we are
Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital, a successful and beautiful, small animal practice is looking for a full-time Veterinarian to join general practice.
Our hospital is an established small animal practice, located in beautiful Thousand Oaks, California, is seeking a hard-working team player veterinarian to join our team. There is leadership potential for those interested! Located in Ventura County, Thousand Oaks is a great recreation and family area located near L.A. and Santa Barbara. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the country with a highly excellent schools, outdoor activities, and a short drive to the beach.

Schedule:
We are currently open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. No after-hours emergencies or on-call requirements. Full-time with us is anything regularly over 30 hours/week.
Caring Hands maintains a "family feel" and is excited to add someone great to our culture. As part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, you would also have a national network of colleagues, internal CE, and personal wellness programs, and a variety of professional growth paths.
The Ideal Candidate would be willing and able to help grow the practice by offering excellent preventative care, performing routine surgery and dentistry, recommending appropriate and detailed case workups, providing thorough client communication and community outreach.

Experience & Skills
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL
