CARING DENTISTS is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Indianapolis, IN

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and supporting dental professionals in delivering quality services.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Prepare patients for dental work, including taking X-rays and conducting preliminary dental exams

- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation

- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices

- Sterilize instruments and equipment

- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

**Experience:**

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge

- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role

- Familiarity with Open Dental, Dentrix, or similar dental software systems

- Ability to assist with patient assessment and X-rays
