What you'll do... 

• Application development using Wordpress modern stack and related technologies

• Perform all aspects of the development lifecycle to design, code, and test software 

• Develop enhancements to existing software

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production bugs

• Participate in design sessions, code reviews, & retrospectives to continuously improve

• Work closely with project managers, creative team and other developers 

• Work using Agile development methodologies 

Qualifications
(Required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology

• 3 year experience engineering software and application platforms 

• Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, & Javascript frameworks

• Strong knowledge of Wordpress, Headless Wordpress, and PHP

• Hands on experience with development of Wordpress themes, plugins & widgets 

• Familiarity with WP related technologies:

  • WP REST API

  • theme.json

  • Gutenberg Editor

  • Hooks/filters

  • OOP PHP

  • Composer

  • PHP Code Quality tools

• React Development experience within WordPress ecosystem

• Experience with APIs and webhooks 

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on an Agile team

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
