Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation center is looking to hire a talented and hard-working Registered Nurse Supervisor (RNS) to join our team
Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RNS):
- Planning, coordinating, and directing all nursing staff for various shifts on the assigned units
- Ongoing general evaluation of staff performance and activities to ensure and achieve optimal resident/patient care
- Participate in the formulation, implementation and interpretation of nursing policies and procedures
- Conduct rounds on all residents on assigned units. Review chart documentation on all residents in the 24-hour report
- Collaborate with the Staffing Coordinator for staffing needs of nursing units
- Monitor staff attendance and punctuality
Qualifications of a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RNS):
- Must have at two to three years of experience in Long Term Care
- Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be creative and have good observational and analytic
- New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing
- PRI Certified
