Carient Heart and Vascular is a leading cardiovascular group of 16 Cardiologists, 1 Vascular Surgeon, and 11 mid-level providers in Northern Virginia. We are looking for a friendly, professional, experienced Telemetry Technician to join our patient focused team of professionals at our cardiovascular practice in Manassas, VA .

Primary Responsibilities include:

The Telemetry Technician is responsible for providing professional care for patients with implantable loop recorders and heart rhythm disorders in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for the interpretation and documentation of cardiac rhythms for patients monitored with ECGs, Event Monitors, Holter monitors, and Implantable Loop Recorders.
  • Responsible for cardiac rhythm analysis, triage, documentation in EMR and notification of the appropriate personnel.
  • Responsible for contacting patients to respond to questions, troubleshoot monitors, and query about symptoms when necessary.
  • Opportunity for clinical practice advancement and professional development.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to all patients and referring providers.
  • Accurate verification of demographic information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong EKG interpretation skills is a must.
  • Minimum 2-year cardiology office experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude are a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
