Duties:
- Perform various landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding
- Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs to maintain their health and appearance
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Assist with the construction of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Dig trenches for installation of underground utilities or landscape elements
- Perform snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred but not required
- Knowledge of tree care and trimming techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within specified deadlines
