Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment. This is a vital role in our organization as it helps protect the well-being of our employees and ensures that our operations are conducted in accordance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, including injuries, illnesses, and property damage
- Provide training to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices
- Coordinate with external agencies, such as OSHA and EPA, DOT to ensure compliance with their requirements
- Assist in workers' compensation claims management process
- Conduct risk assessments and assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA / DOT regulations
- Proficient in conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Excellent report writing skills to document safety-related incidents and inspections
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and first aid procedures
- Ability to fabricate safety training materials and deliver engaging training sessions

Pay: $42,080.21 - $50,677.25 per year
