Dr. Jason Miller purchased the original facility in the area of Atlanta, Illinois from Osborn Industries, Inc. on May 9, 2003. After an extensive remodeling process, TCVS was officially opened for business in September of 2003. The large animal haul-in facility was completed in September of 2006. The first full-time associate was hired in June of 2010. In November of 2010, a second facility was opened in Lincoln, Illinois. Today, the Lincoln clinic operates as a full-service small animal facility and Timbercrest Veterinary Service continues to function as a progressive, full service, mixed animal practice.
Our vision at Timbercrest Veterinary Service is to establish a monumental veterinary practice by the use of adapting technology and an advancing knowledge base to provide excellent veterinary service to both small and large animal clients.

- Takes medical histories and vital signs of patients.*
- Maintains client educational material in an efficient manner.*
- Performs departmental housekeeping duties.*
- Admits and discharges patients.*
- Takes, processes and logs prescription refills in-house, call out pharmacy and online pharmacy.*
- Monitoring hospital patients and logging vital signs.*
- Administering medications to patients as needed.*
- Placing catheters and performing blood draws.*
- Restraining and assisting the doctor during exams, treatments, and anesthesia procedures.*
- Other duties as assigned.
- Denotes an Essential Function
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered Veterinary Technicians in Illinois are preferred, not necessarily required. We are open and willing to train the right candidate.
