Careteam Plus, located in and serving the Grand Strand Myrtle Beach/Georgetown/Williamsburg/Pawley's Island/Conway, SC areas, is a primary medical and specialty care healthcare organization offering services for the entire family, from newborn to the elderly. Receives work orders/work requests from Careteam designated team members. Helps determine priority level and batches (or not) based on priority level and determines work needs. Uses competency and expertise to make repairs, paints, and does various maintenance and other tasks. Identifies items that are beyond scope, legal and insurance coverage areas such as electrical and plumbing that require a referral to an outside licensed representative. Assist with those referral needs and sees projects through to conclusion. In a back-up coverage status, operates various company vehicles to facilitate safe, efficient and enjoyable transportation of patients and clients to and from various destinations/healthcare appointments as well as delivers vehicles to various locations. Helps maintain company vehicles and oversees cleaning and maintenance and other related assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Highschool diploma required. (may substitute an additional 3 years maintenance/transportation experience for the high school diploma making the total required 4 years)

Experience

• A Minimum of 1 year related experience required.

Skills

• Able to read and speak English fluently required.
• Excellent time management skills required.
• Proficient at General maintenance including painting.

Other

• Valid and in good standing South Carolina driver’s license required.
• Meets Careteam Plus Employee Health Tuberculosis screening program requirements.
• Other employee health requirements as may be determined from time-to-time to be in the best interest of the workforce and community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty without accommodation or with accommodation without undue hardship to Careteam Plus.

• Contact clinical partners and insurance companies and others to ensure prior approval requirements are met. Present necessary medical information such as history, diagnosis and prognosis.
• Perform general maintenance and painting through Careteam facilities located in the tri county region.
• Works with team to identity and understand the priority level.
• Is available often enough to keep up with maintenance and project needs.
• Identifies when a task or project needs elevated to a licensed external contractor such as but not limited to electrical and plumbing (to ensure coverage by Careteam insurance)
• Work effectively and efficiently with staff, patients/clients and others.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles.
• Helps identify vehicle service needs proactively and assists to facilitate if requested.
• Helps keeps vehicle clean and properly maintained, including fueled.
• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Careteam staff work together as a team and help each other and patients/clients by performing other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.07 - $24.83 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
