CareSTL Health is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to process medical films, transport patients, and provide other routine assistance to radiology staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Radiology Technologist may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.

• Able to produce quality radiographs in a safe and proper manner with all patients
• Scan all necessary documents into the appropriate database for interpretation by the radiologist
• Apply principles of radiation to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others
• Practices aseptic/sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Clean the exam table after every patient
• Operate imaging equipment and other equipment devices in radiology such as computers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and printer
• Assist coworkers as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Must have received a Certificate of completion from an Allied Health Education (AMA) radiology program which meets requirements of the American Registry of Radiological Technologist

Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in an out-patient radiology setting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have excellent oral/written communication skills
