CareSTL Health is seeking a full-time Quality Performance Analyst to oversee, evaluate, and make recommendations about patient care and/or organizational functions. This position will also coordinate QA/QI committees and quality initiatives. The Quality Performance Analyst will provide assistance and guidance to CareSTL Health staff in the area of quality data reporting and analysis, work with and lead internal groups to develop and improve quality reporting systems and processes, and train designated CareSTL Health staff on quality-related software tools.

Essential Functions:

• Oversees validation of quality processes, performs statistical analysis, develops validation models, and writes process validation protocols.
• Assist in quality control analysis to ensure funders' satisfaction and performance guarantees are met and/or exceeded.
• Identifies and analyzes trends in data reported to prioritize and lead performance improvement initiatives.
• Serves as liaison/team member with QA, regulatory affairs, research and development.
• Designs and implements validation studies to ensure consistency of quality concerns or practice patterns or to pinpoint areas for process improvement.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Healthcare Quality, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Graduate of an Accrediting School of Professional Nursing (Preferred)

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting; or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior Quality, Accreditation, or Health Plan experience in analytics-related fields (Required)
• Extensive experience working at the Expert/Advanced level in Excel

• Possess the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrate Expert/Advanced skill level in Excel
• Proficient computer skills required for data entry and retrieving information (including Windows-style applications: Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently, set project priorities, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to determine unique solutions to situations as appropriate.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Information:

Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
