CareSTL Health is seeking a qualified Director of Account to join our Team!!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Director of Accounting plans and directs accounting activities within CARESTL HEALTH. The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Director of Accounting may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.
- Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and payroll
- Supervise grant and contract fiscal reporting and requirements.
- Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports
- Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures
- Directs the maintenance of ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, operating expenses, and insurance records.
Other Job Duties:
- Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies
- Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues
- Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
- Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting
- Review financial statements with management personnel
- Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.
- Performs general support activities and carries out special projects as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position supervises the Accounting Manager, Staff Accountant, A/P Accountant and Payroll Coordinator
Additional Information:
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- 11 paid holidays per year.
