CARESTAR is Hiring a Personal Care Aide Near Hamilton, OH

Personal Care Aide – Butler and surrounding counties.

CareStar, Inc. is currently seeking a Personal Care Aide in the Clinical department and is responsible for providing compassionate, non-medical services to individuals in their homes to effectively ensure their comfort and safety.

THE POSITION

CareStar is looking for motivated individuals who/to:

• Maintains open and direct contact with Program Administration.
• Assists clients in completing activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, including, but not limited to, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, errands, incontinence care, transportation and light housework.
• Provides companion care and other assistance, as needed, to promote a quality life.
• Assist individuals served with taking identified medication and appointment reminders.
• Enters information accurately into database to document care visits.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service, including effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, independently and as part of a team.
• Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.
• Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.

• Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.

THE LOCATION

This position is open in Butler County and is responsible for covering the surrounding counties.
