$64-69 per hour blended rate

Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse with a specialization in the Intensive / Critical Care Unit, your role is pivotal in delivering high-quality care to patients in need of critical-level care. You will:
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing specialized care and interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, with a focus on cardiac monitoring and support.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families during their journey to recovery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation specific to ICU/CCU procedures.
  • Adhere to rigorous healthcare and safety standards.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted nursing license in the state of South Dakota, or Compact State license.
  • At minimum, current NIHSS, and BLS & ACLS (AHA) certifications (Certification requirements vary by location).
  • At least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, actively within the last 12 months.
  • At least 2 years of specialized experience and expertise in Intensive / Critical Care nursing, including proficiency in cardiac monitoring and care.
  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to excel in the fast-paced and dynamic ICU / CCU environment.
  • Travel experience and/or willingness to travel.
