Position : Material Handler
Location : Livonia, MI

Duration of engagement: 3-4 Months Contract

Summary Role:

Supporting activities for inventory management. Arranging displays based on requirements.

Education Required:

· Associate degree, preferably Mechanical/Automobile or equivalent

Key Competencies & Experience Required:

· Total experience of 1-2 years

· 1 Years of experience as a mechanic

· Handling power tools

· Any type of automotive repair background

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Will move parts physically and arrange for display

· Ensure that the parts are distributed as per the instruction

· Maintains inventory by identifying and labeling parts

· Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs

· Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations

Desired candidate profile:

· Should have a good attitude towards work.

· Willing to work 40 hours as needed to complete projects on time.

· Looking for a candidate with long-term ambitions in the automotive benchmarking industry.

· Should be a quick learner and show a willingness to learn.

· Comfortable following verbal / written instructions.

· Good knowledge of automotive part.

· Should have knowledge in parts Invertor and parts storage.

· Should be able to work physically moving parts and display.

· Should be able to handle power tools (hand operated cutting machine, plasma cutter etc.,)

· Able to lift up to 50lbs.

· Good Communication Skills.
