JOB OVERVIEW: The Arbor Crew Leader operates under the guidance and supervision of the Arborist to work together as part of a team to accomplish daily Arbor work orders. This is a physically demanding job yet very rewarding, that provides you with the opportunity to work outdoors to create and maintain vibrant trees enjoyed by our customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITEIS BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Direct a safe and efficient Arbor crew to complete daily arbor work.
• Safely drive the arbor crew to their daily job sites.
• Gather debris and feed it into the chipper.
• Meet or exceed company production standards for Arbor work.
• Perform tree trimming, tree elevations, property clearance and/or tree removals.
• Working with hand-held tools and Arbor related heavy machinery.
• Wear appropriate uniform and required PPE.
• Follow instructions given by the Arbor Manager.
• Follow all safety and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Reliable and with a strong work ethic.
• Must have both physical and mental stamina to work in difficult conditions.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme AZ weather (cold/ windy/ heat).
• Great hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Outstanding listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a part of a team and independently.
