CARES full-time staff receive a company vehicle to use for getting to and from work and for the entire workday because you'll be transporting our Participants (VIPs)!

Cares of Western PA needs full-time Direct Support Professionals to support adults with intellectual disabilities with the ultimate goal of gaining independence and community integration at the Mars Campus of our community-based day program.

Locations needed for the Mars area:
Gibsonia
Cranberry
Zelienople

Your work week will look like this:

• Monday - Friday
• 8 am - 4 pm
• No Nights
• No Weekends
• No Holidays

With CARES programs approximately 75% of the time, here's what you'll be doing:

• Helping participants become a valuable part of their community.
• Volunteering for non-profits.
• Helping our VIPs learn life skills and prevocational skills.
• Enjoying many different recreational activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to pass physical/TB test.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks.
• Experience helpful, but not necessary. Complete PAID training provided.
