Staffing Coordinator

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a facility with 160 beds and is proud of their state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Gym servicing 50 short term beds. Our The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center team consists of 20 Therapists spanning 20 years of experience with backgrounds in acute, sub-acute, long term and outpatient settings would provide an excellent setting for learning and growth. The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center provides Rehabilitation services 7 days per week.

Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

• Create and post schedules for nursing department, track and post changes and approve trades.
• Maintain timely records of call-out, late and early arrivals to work and coordinate with HR daily to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.
• Monitor daily PPD
• Monitor and minimize staff overtime
• Contact and schedule agency staff, if applicable, to cover open shifts as a last resort.
• Provide accurate reports to the DON relating to staffing, vacancies or agency use.
• Keep accurate record of all PTO and change requests
• Experience working with payroll as well as minor HR functions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED
• Computer knowledge required
• Experience with SBV perferred
• Experience in long term care with scheduling, HR and payroll
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Must have experience in SBV and scheduling

Shift - 9a - 5pm

Salary - Based on Experience
