Job Title: Onsite Athletic Trainer
Location: Pella, IA (Client Site)
Position Details:
Non-Exempt - Hourly
40 Hours Per Week
7:00 pm 3:30 am Monday - Friday (Estimated Schedule, Schedule is subject to change)
$26/hr-$30/hr (depending on experience).

About this Position: The Onsite Athletic Trainer role will operate as a clients contract employee working within a team of 2-3 other athletic trainers. The ideal candidate for this position should be motivated to grow and advance in the occupational health space. This position will help cultivate and grow a culture of safety, health, wellbeing at a large manufacturing facility.
Narrative Description: The Onsite Athletic Trainer will work at a client site with a small team of athletic trainers providing industrial/occupational health and prevention services.
Essential Job Functions:
Operate within the athletic training scope of practice and applicable government regulation:
Risk Reduction, Wellness and Health Literacy
Assessment, Evaluation and Diagnosis
Critical Incident Management
Therapeutic Intervention
Health Care Administration and Professional Responsibility
The primary function of this position is to provide early intervention care to general population employees thus mitigating risk and preventing injury.
Maintain a visual presence for the clients employees to be available when needed.
Maintain effective communication lines with client EHS, HR, Work Comp, and Operational Leadership.
Integrate with the client and participate in client meetings and committees.
Assist client to establish and strive towards strategic goals that match CAREonsite services.
Build, develop, manage, and present training, educational programs, etc. as the client requests.
Document patient treatment per professional and regulatory standards while ensuring the security of sensitive records is always maintained.
Marginal Job Functions:
Assist the clients environmental health and safety team as needed with miscellaneous activities.
Join the client's employees during day-to-day activities as seen fit with client permission.
Provide ideas, thoughts, and opinions to CAREonsite leadership on the expansion of the growing CAREonsite athletic trainer service.
Work Environment:
Office ~ 50%
In the field or on the production floor with the clients employees ~ 50%
Travel: <1%
Required Qualifications:
Iowa Athletic Training Licensure or Eligibility for Iowa Athletic Training Licensure.
Active Basic Life Support & CPR certification
Mobility, strength, visual and auditory acuity adequate for immediate response to patients needs
Ability to work independently to accomplish team goals
