CARENET HEALTH is Hiring an IT Quality Assurance Specialist Near Berkshire, MA

Overview

Our PH IT team is adding a Quality Assurance Analyst! If you are passionate in software and is thrilled in delivering top-notch quality applications, check out this role! The Quality Assurance Specialist is a key player in our Agile squad, entrusted with testing software systems.

We're on the lookout for someone with an eagle eye for detail, a hunger for knowledge, and the agility to navigate evolving testing protocols with ease. This is an in-house role so you will be working directly for Carenet Health! 

Work Schedule: 8pm - 5am PH time (with occasional late morning shifts due to US product release schedules)

Work Setup: Hybrid/Remote (90% remote, 10% on-site for visits to Makati office, Luzon-based)

Eligibility: Must be a Filipino citizen

Responsibilities

What you can do to help the team: 

  • Craft test plans and test cases to guarantee product excellence
  • Conduct hands-on testing of software applications
  • Execute tests meticulously and document outcomes
  • Engage in User Acceptance Testing
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects to the software development team
  • Perform testing across various environments (DEV, UAT, TRN, PRD)
  • Comprehend requirements and translate them into efficient tests
  • Minimize defects introduced into Production
  • Estimate effort levels to support planning
  • Collaborate in pinpointing the root cause of production defects
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve testing-related defects
  • Participate and achieve individual, team, Sprint, and Project objectives
  • Play an active role in Agile ceremonies
  • Commit to enhancing testing procedures and methodologies
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Carenet personnel and showcase completed work to peers, stakeholders, and leadership

Qualifications

What you need to have to be considered: 

  • Bachelor's degree  in Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred
  • At least 4 years of software testing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM software and basic call center functions
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving skills to understand software requirements.
  • Operate in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Working Knowledge of Jira
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Testing Tools Experience
  • Ability to learn testing methodologies
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and Time management skills
