Carematch is Hiring a Regional Preschool Executive Director Near Alpharetta, GA

The Atlanta-based owner of a premier child care center is looking for an Executive Director to maintain and grow the current preschool (enrollment, recruitment, retention, compliance, safety, curriculum, parent satisfaction, etc.) and to establish it as the premier early learning and child-care option in the community.

This Executive Director will take charge on behalf of the owner as the single point of contact for all aspects, lead an existing well-performing management team, and drive the expansion of 2 additional schools in the greater Atlanta area.

They conduct rigorous, on-site external reviews of pre-K-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential.

Compensation:

$70,000 - $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Safety and Cleanliness
  • Promote a great work culture. Hire and Develop Quality Staff
  • Proactive Engagement and Enrollment
  • Financial Sustainability and Growth: Maintain profitability by ensuring school occupancy stays above 90% throughout the year. Planning and execution of additional schools, as needed
  • Implement the curriculum
  • Foster strong relationships with parents through regular, transparent communication, including sharing updates about their child's progress and being responsive to feedback
Qualifications:
  • Must have 3 years of managing a school with over 150 children and consistently keeping the enrollments at over 95% occupancy
  • Bachelor's/or Graduate Degree in Early Childhood Education (Preferred not required)
  • State Certification
  • At least two years of experience as a group teacher in a program for children under six years of age
  • Previous leadership experience in early education is a must
  • Demonstrated passion for and commitment to working with children
  • Proven track record of successfully and independently managing all aspects of an early education school, including but not limited to enrollment, budget and financial performance accountability
  • Early Child Care Development: Passion and understanding of child development stages and needs
  • Business Management Skills: Proficiency in financial management, marketing, and operations
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills to manage staff and oversee facility operations
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities for interacting with parents, staff, and children
  • Safety and Health Training: Knowledge of safety standards and health practices specific to childcare
  • Certification in Childcare: Relevant certifications or degrees in early childhood education or related fields
  • Motivated to do more and achieve greater growth
