Job Summary:

CareLinx by Sharecare is looking for Caregivers.

CareLinx by Sharecare provides in-home care services to veterans across the country. As a caregiver, you will be assisting veterans and their families by helping with daily activities and providing support to them in their homes and communities. You will play a pivotal role in helping with tasks such as light housekeeping, medication reminders, and other non-medical tasks.

CareLinx caregivers will work with a team of care advisors who are dedicated to finding a match between caregivers and members to meet your goals (schedule, duration, etc.) and the veteran’s unique needs.

Essential Job Functions:

• Friendly companionship and assistance with activities of daily living including, but not limited to:
• cooking and meal preparation
• errands and transportation
• walking and exercise
• medication reminders
• bathing and grooming
• light housekeeping tasks
• Thorough documentation of care plan tasks and activities completed in the home
• Timely submission of timesheets via the CareLinx app
• Communication with care advisors as needed
• Ensures that all information about members is maintained as confidential

• Special Needs: Companionship, Toileting, Dressing & Grooming, Transferring & Mobility (need to make sure the patient doesn't fall, Bathing (sometimes only), Light housekeeping (change bed every 2 weeks, kitchen mop, sweep floor, clean bathroom (every week), pick up something from the post office stuff from the VA supplies, or pick up grocery (client is aware she needs to provide the transportation)
• Care Schedule: 3 hrs/day for 2 days and 2 hrs/day for 2 days Flexible days anytime starting 9AM
• Covid Vaccinated, Non Smoker

Qualifications:

• Six (6) months of caregiving experience or educational experience (CNA, HHA, MA, etc.)
• Ability to communicate in English (Bilingual requirements)
• Disclosure of COVID vaccination status
• Completion of program-specific vetting and training required
• Medical requirements including physicals and TB test may be required
• Additional documents can be requested due to state laws and regulations may be needed
