Opening for a part-time Caregivers/Direct Care Worker in the Greenville area. Clients are primarily Veterans requiring assistance to age at place at home. This is a great opportunity to help give back to those who have already served our country. Visits are scheduled during regular day turn hours Monday-Friday. Schedules can be flexible and are created based on when YOU are available to work. Part-time to start but can become full time if desired. Average visit length is 3 hours at a time, so more than one visit is usually combined each day for full time caregivers.

Responsibilities:
Caregivers/Direct Care Workers provide hands on personal care and housekeeping, assistance to elderly clients. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Dementia care experience is preferred, training available.
• Grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, toileting, incontinence care, meal preparation, medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing and laundry.
• Transportation, shopping, running errands as needed.
• Ability to lift using safe management techniques.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have DRIVER'S LICENSE and THEIR OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION!
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Possesses maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Criminal background clearance, TB and drug screening.
• RELIABLE and RESPONSIBLE with a willingness to work.
