Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA - Home Health

1. Develop treatment plans by identifying a problem list and methods to achieve identified goals
2. Carries out treatment, implementation, and documentation of patient status for home health patients under the direction of the registered Physical Therapist (PT)
3. Adapts treatment to meet the individual needs of the patient
4. Reviews the quality and appropriateness of the total services delivered
5. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in their home environment, evaluating their physical abilities, mobility, and functional status
6. Administer therapeutic exercises to improve patients' strength, range of motion, and overall functional mobility

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PTA PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT:

1. Physical Therapist Assistant degree from an accredited program
2. Successful completion of Certification Examination
3. 2 years of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years
4. Valid PTA license in Georgia
5. HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred
