MORE ABOUT THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Licensed Practical Nurse opportunity include, but are not limited to

1. Provide supervision and assistance to a patient with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and who has undergone brain surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being
2. Attend to the needs of the bed-bound patient, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), incontinence care, and any other necessary support
3. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image for the organization
4. Work independently with attention to detail, possessing comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
5. Evaluate and assess the patient's medical condition as ordered, promptly reporting any significant changes to a physician for medical intervention and follow-up
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to care in compliance with regulatory standards
7. Administer medications as prescribed by the physician, ensuring precise documentation of medications administered
8. Regularly monitor and record vital signs, promptly addressing any abnormal findings
9. Serve as a model of professionalism and compassion, acting as an ambassador for the organization

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:

1. 1 year of nursing experience required
2. BLS issued through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
3. Must be eligible to work in the United States
4. LPN license in Florida
