MORE ABOUT THE CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION:

1. Prepare patients by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, reporting patient history summary.
2. Ability to work with other personnel and develop/maintain good relations
3. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of care and current clinical practice, treatments and interventions, specific to position specialty.
4. Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
5. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations.
6. Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
7. Ability to deal tactfully with patients, residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public, according to position setting.
8. Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
9. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
10. Demonstrate proficiency in written/verbal skills in English language
11. Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties.
12. Willingness to travel to patient homes and be comfortable driving a company vehicle

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT:

1. Min 6 months recent high volume Medical Assistant MA experience is required
2. H.S. Diploma or GED required and active MA certification
3. Valid drivers license
4. Current CPR & TB, clear background
5. Phelebotomy experience required
6. Must be willing to drive company vehicle up to an hour from the site location
