Registered Nurse - RN - CARDIOVASCULAR OPERATING ROOM - CVOR
CareerStaff Unlimited is looking to hire a Registered Nurse for a full-time opportunity in Meridian, MS. This 13-week contract offers 6AM to 2PM shifts and is currently only open to candidates that live over 50 miles away from the facility. This position requires the nurse to be on call twice a week. Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years of recent CVOR experience, excellent communication skills, a strong focus on patient care, and feel confident in evaluations and working with a multi-disciplinary team. Extension options may be available at the end of the contract. In addition to our standard benefits, our RN professionals are preferred in a number of facilities and hospitals in the area. MORE ABOUT THE RN REGISTERED NURSE – CARDIOVASCULAR OPERATING ROOM - CVOR POSITION:
CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by settings new standards for quality care and personalized services. Responsibilities for this Registered Nurse opportunity include, but are not limited to:
- Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in the CVOR
- Triage each patient and determine the priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system
- Variety of complex surgical procedures including organ transplantation and cardiac surgery.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and possess good oral and written communication skills
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide direction to non-nursing staff
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RN REGISTERED NURSE – CARDIOVASCULAR OPERATING ROOM - CVOR:
- 4 years of previous OR experience
- BLS and ACLS issued through American Heart Association
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have an active RN license in Mississippi
