School Psychologist

A School Psychologist is needed for a temporary position in Orlando, Florida. This role is full-time, 7.5-hour work day, covering 6 to 8 weeks. This role includes conducting evaluations and attending meetings. The ideal candidate will have early intervention experience and be proficient in evaluation tools. Enjoy a great work-life balance while working with one of the most reputable districts in the state! Recent school-based evaluation experience is required.

PAY:

$1,875/Weekly Gross

$50/Hourly

37.5 hours/Week

MORE ABOUT THE PSYCHOLOGIST POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Psychologistopportunity include, but are not limited to:

  1. Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning
  2. Interpret assessment results to inform educational planning and interventions
  3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create tailored plans that address students' unique strengths and challenges
  4. Conduct functional behavioral assessments to understand the factors influencing students' behavior
  5. Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to address challenging behaviors and promote positive alternatives
  6. Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or critical incidents affecting students, staff, or the school community
  7. Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address academic and behavioral concerns
  8. Communicate with parents to provide information on assessments, interventions, and available resources

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PSYCHOLOGIST:

  1. 1 years of recent experience
  2. School Psychologist certification from an accredited program
  3. Successful completion of Certification Examination
  4. Expected to have a thorough knowledge of Federal and State Psychologist regulations
  5. Must be eligible to work in the United States
  6. Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Doctoral degree in Psychology
