TRG requires the following skills and abilities: Excellent communication skills with customers and employees. Ability to speak effectively to employees, managers, customer, etc.; ability to lead meeting competently and answer questions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, and training and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, emails and correspondence clearly and effectively. High school graduate or equivalent with related college education or heavy college coursework Preferred that employees have prior work experience in the corrugated industry or other 2-4 years’ work experience and knowledge of corrugated production and converting machinery Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and ability to drive; able to unload and load samples from vehicle Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, profits, proportions, percentages and volume. Knowledge of and comfort using Windows and MS office Ability to apply proper understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to solve a variety of problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited information or standardization exists. Organization, Multitasking, and Time Management Skills Quality Standards and their importance Teaching Skills Leadership Ability Professional appearance to support role as manager representative As a Sales Representative at TRG you will: Sell new, profitable accounts Improve career skills by enrolling in seminars, technical courses and related college courses Regular and predictable attendance Service existing accounts through regular contact Apply knowledge of products, machine limitations and costing variables Follow up on customer specifications regarding particular orders Process all required paperwork on a timely basis Assist in preparing annual sales budget forecasts Follow-up on past due collections Implement, maintain and support all company policies and procedures, including safety programs and good housekeeping Work with sales manager in coordinating and determining feasibility for new projects Work with Estimating department on new opportunities Work with Design department to develop customer solutions Work with Sales team to strategize sales growth Ability to work overtime as the job requires Travel as needed to surrounding areas As an industry leader TRG offers: 52 weeks per year of job stability and opportunities for growth and career development!
