Job Description

STC has a Warehouse Logistics Technician position open supporting our NASA customer at Langley Research Center (LaRC) in Hampton VA under our MCHFSS contract. The Warehouse Logistics Technician position is full-time, working on NASA LaRC supporting metals receiving for the Fabrication Branch. STC is excited to find a candidate who is highly motivated, outgoing, desires future opportunities, takes initiative, requires little direction from supervision, communicates and interfaces well with others, pays attention to detail, and appreciates a clean workspace.

Job Requirements

Warehouse Logistics Technician shall at the minimum possess the following skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suit).
• Mechanical skills and ability to operate tools such as grinders, marvel saws, drills and basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of measuring devices such as calipers and pull tapes.
• Occasional lifting required not to exceed 35 lbs.
• Proficient with operating forklift required. Overhead crane and JLG lift a plus!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid VA Driver’s License required.
• Ability to successfully pass background checks required.
