Job Description:
STC is seeking a Service Engineer III to support the Requirements, Assurance and Assessment Division’s (RAAD) User Engagement contract which will support the Office of Systems Architecture and Engineering (SAE) in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service (NESDIS) Line Office. SAE provides a systematic approach to requirements, satellite architecture planning, strategic planning, and systems engineering while RAAD provides requirements data observation, user needs information, observing system portfolio/architecture analysis, and manages the data sets for analytical support to
NOAA senior leadership.

  • Supports RAAD IPTs and working group activities with analytical and physical science experience.
  • Participates in RAAD staff meetings, ensuring RAAD calendar distribution and open action reporting is accurate.
  •  Be aware of all major RAAD briefing and action responses.
  • Be aware and monitor all internal and external data requests for RAAD.
  • Maintain and update the RAAD action tracker database and provide a system of monitoring critical RAAD action support.

Job Requirements
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communications skills and effective presentation skills.
  • Facilitates communication between staff, management, and other technological resources within the organization.
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve complex issues.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • At least 1-5 years of experience
