Job Description

STC is a science and engineering research and services support company with proven expertise and experience spanning research, development, test, and evaluation in areas including aerospace engineering, earth and atmospheric sciences, chemical and biological defense, military systems and technology, and software development.

Job Description:
Manages project operations for a geospatial information and systems engineering contract. Oversees the planning, approval, and implementation of specific tasks on contract. Supervises daily operations. Defines and explains the scale, cost, and timetable of the task order. Acts as the point of contact for the implementation of task order assignments.

  • Responsible for the management of funds and personnel at the project level, and is accountable for the quality and timeliness of project deliverables.
  • Establishes and maintains communication between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the timely delivery of technical services.
  • Evaluates project protocols and procedures to reduce costs and improve the quality of executed assignments. Writes and reviews technical documents and prepares monthly status reports.
  • Meets and communicates with project stakeholders, including government personnel.
  • Procures materials and labor to complete contract agreements.
  • Manages the activities of contractor personnel and subcontractors.

Education:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, or Business

Bonus points if you have:

  • Program Management Certification
  • Experience working with the Army Geospatial Center and/or National Geospatial Intelligence Agency

  • Schedule: M-F, 8-hrs/days

Job Requirements
  • 8 years project management experience in Scientific or Technical Disciplines related to geospatial information and GIS
  • Experience managing contracts 15 personnel and creating project management plans
  • Experience with mission command systems, geospatial intelligence technology gap analysis, GEOINT datasets, and developing interoperability roadmaps
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability multitask, prioritize, and complete work within schedule.
