Job Description:
STC is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Requirements, Assurance and Assessment Division’s (RAAD) User Engagement contract which will support the Office of Systems Architecture and Engineering (SAE) in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service (NESDIS) Line Office. SAE provides a systematic approach to requirements, satellite architecture planning, strategic planning, and systems engineering while RAAD provides requirements data observation, user needs information, observing system portfolio/architecture analysis, and manages the data sets for analytical support to NOAA senior leadership.

Job Requirements
  • Provide expert guidance and support on data analysis to a variety of user engagement projects.
  • Design and manage the collection, reporting, and visualization of platforms and dashboards.
  • Perform analysis on user engagement data.
  • Identify tools and create metrics to help RAAD extract value from its data.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with a variety of data management and visualization tools (PoweBI, Tableau).
  • Good organizational skills; must be detail oriented.
  • Good communication and critical thinking skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative science or related field (economics, statistics, or data science).
  • Must have 1-5 years of experience working in the field.
