MRC has an opening for a full time Security Specialist I position supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport in the area of Communications Security (COMSEC) and Message Center. Access control of the facility, technology and information is extremely regulated in a controlled environment and only highly qualified Security Specialists are charged with this critical responsibility. Candidates for this position will undergo an extensive vetting process by the government. This tasking requires a Top Secret security clearance.

On an ad hoc basis, the Security Specialist shall upload COMSEC keying materials and conduct inventories of COMSEC Materials.

On an ad hoc basis, the Security Specialist shall control physical access to the message center. The Security Specialist shall proofread and correct grammar and spelling errors using Common Message Processor (CMP) for outgoing naval messages. The Security Specialist shall submit corrected naval messages to the Government for review and approval. Upon Government approval, the Security Specialist shall transmit the approved message via the Official Information Exchange system.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office required.
